About You To excel in this role, you should possess: Tertiary qualification in Engineering with eligibility for Membership of Engineers Australia. Extensive experience in railway planning, design, procurement, construction, and maintenance, covering elements such as rails, track geometry, sleepers, slab track, ballast, and formation capping layer. In-depth understanding of track interrelationships with subgrade, drainage, civil works, structures, geotechnical conditions, overhead electrified equipment, railway signals, and communications systems. Strong leadership and management skills in resource, people, and project management, with the ability to convert strategies into operational plans and achieve outcomes. Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey complex technical matters to both technical and non-technical audiences, along with advanced conceptual and analytical abilities for developing innovative solutions.
