We are looking for an experienced individual who can be agile and deliver strong results. A Day in The Life Located at Medtronic's Head Office in Macquarie Park, Sydney, and offering a hybrid working arrangement. You will receive comprehensive product and sales training, gaining invaluable experience in promoting innovative products within the Diabetes sector. As an Inside Sales Supervisor , you will balance dual roles: being both the Player and the Coach. As the Player, you will be responsible and accountable for a selected territory's performance, ensuring strong sales results and exceptional customer satisfaction. As the Coach, you will nurture, support, and motivate your team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of field sales, inside sales, marketing, operations, commercial enablement, and customer care to deliver comprehensive programs and achieve strong business outcomes. In this role, you will utilize your phone-based selling skills to maintain and expand your customer base by reaching out to existing Medtronic patients and advocating for a range of cutting-edge medical devices. Additionally, you will drive new patient growth through proactive engagement with new patient leads. Your efforts will align with our strategic goals, contributing to the continued growth and success of Medtronic Diabetes ANZ. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Remotely sells Medtronic's products and retains end-user patients within an assigned territory to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals. - Identify, develop, and close leads for the business and refer on internal leads when appropriate. - Provides input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies. - Promote and establish education about the company's products and/or services. - Manage and respond to customer concerns and problems. - Assists field sales representatives in the planning and execution of sales activities, arranging product demos, and providing on-going sales support including sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and sales rep follow-up. - Act as Coach to the Team, providing leadership, support, guidance, and motivation. Must Haves - Bachelor's degree in nursing, General Science or Business. - Solid (5 years) relevant experience in phone sales/inside sales or direct sales within the medical devices and/or pharmaceutical industry - Proven experience in a senior capacity where you have led, managed, or supervised a team. - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Excellent organisational skills - Strong ability to prioritise and multitask to ensure the achievement of individual accountability, and team success. - Resilience and calmness in challenging situations - Ability to build strong relationships with customers (both internal and external) at all levels - Proficiency with MS 365 Office suite Excel Nice to Haves - Preferably has knowledge in diabetes-related products and services. - Experience working with SalesForce or similar CRM system is advantageous.
