We are on the lookout for a seasoned Mechanical Compliance Engineer for our Burnie-based client, who is a leader in their industry. About the role The role will be fast-paced but specialised, and your responsibilities will include: Possess thorough knowledge of machine designs and systems, especially Braking, Hydraulic Control, and Access Systems. Conduct analysis and calculations to determine the testing scope and instrumentation requirements. Lead compliance testing projects at the test facility. Collect and interpret test data, including complex tests such as sound and vibration analyses. Produce professional reports that meet established standards. Consult with design and marketing teams, both locally and internationally. Apply strong discipline in filing reports and information according to established guidelines. About you You're a Mechanical Engineer with Mechanical Compliance Testing experience, exceptional problem-solving skills, and relevant experience. Required Skills: Mechanical Engineering degree. Strong analytical skills and relevant industry experience. Strong skills with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel. Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Desirable Skills: Experience with Creo Parametric 3D modelling. Experience with analysis software such as DatK and Matlab. This is a casual role, requiring you to work 38 hours per week, with additional overtime as needed to meet deadlines. The working hours are from 7 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday. You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia. This opportunity is based in Burnie, so you should either reside in Burnie or be willing to relocate.
