Our Mico Wanaka store is a busy commercial branch, providing trade solutions to a loyal trade customer base, including home builders and the local business sector. Mico New Zealand is a leading supplier of plumbing and bathroom products to the trade, retail and commercial sectors, with 70 branches and around 550 employees throughout New Zealand The role: We have an exciting role, where you'll join a stable branch and enjoy the variety and opportunities of working with a close-knit, experienced team within a large organisation. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a varied role where you will be mostly driving and doing deliveries, but also pitching in with the rest of the team when required to help out in the Inwards Goods area, cycle counting stock and loading/offloading. Working behind the Trade Counter, you'll ensure that our customers, who are made up of tradies, businesses and home-owners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional service, but even working in inwards goods or doing deliveries will bring your great customer service skills into play, as you liaise with them on their orders and support them to keep their businesses on the go You'll have the chance to learn our products, and this will give you the opportunity to progress in the branch, the business, and the organisation. Product or industry knowledge would be a real bonus, but we have heaps of great training materials, if you're a willing learner This is a permanent part time role, working Wednesday to Friday with some flexibility around the days. About you: To shine in this role, you'll bring a customer-focused attitude and strong work ethic to the business and be prepared to work closely and flexibly with the rest of our team. The ability to build rapport and relationships should be your strength, and you'll be IT savvy, too. You will need to be a confident and experienced driver, capable of driving on unsealed roads. A background in building-related industry would be preferable, with exposure to the health and safety requirements of construction and building sites. There is manual handling required, and so you'll need to be physically fit.
