As a Radio Systems Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass reviewing radio system designs to ensure alignment with PTA requirements and industry standards. You will act as a Witnessing Engineer during LTE network infrastructure installations and commissioning, ensuring adherence to protocols. Monitoring network performance and overseeing RF optimization tasks will be crucial aspects of your role, alongside providing technical expertise, guidance, and training to colleagues. Your contribution to the Radio Systems Replacement Project will be pivotal, focusing on operational efficiency through meticulous maintenance and effective asset management strategies. About You To excel in this role, you should possess: Possess professional qualifications that meet the admission requirements for membership in the Institution of Engineers Australia, Information, Telecommunications & Electronics Engineering College, and demonstrate knowledge and recent experience in the design, installation, and commissioning of modern digital radio communications systems, preferably involving 4G RAN networks. Recent experience in problem-solving and troubleshooting of modern digital radio communications systems and associated field equipment, preferably involving 4G RAN networks, and proficiency in cell planning, configuration, and optimization of LTE networks. Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, with field staff, and occasionally with minimal supervision. Strong conceptual and analytical skills, with the ability to analyse information and data and provide detailed reports on findings, and demonstrated experience and knowledge in using computer systems for construction, fault finding, operating system configuration, and network configuration.
