THE OPPORTUNITY The EEC has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, energetic, and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join the team on a full-time basis. As a teacher in the EEC, you will promote positive outcomes for children and families, and ensure that the learning environment is guided by the Australian Curriculum (Foundation Year), Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) as well as the ethos and values of the Centre and Ipswich Junior Grammar School. To be successful in this environment we require an ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teacher holding a completed Bachelor of Early Childhood, Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), or Bachelor of Primary accompanied by an Early Childhood qualification (Diploma in Early Childhood, Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood etc). WHAT YOU WILL BRING To be successful in this role, you will have a willingness to support the values and aims of the School, and have Bachelor qualifications in Education (Early Years) and current or the ability to gain registration with the Queensland College of Teachers. Current knowledge or demonstrated experience working within the National quality Framework (NQF) and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines. The ability to promote an environment of dynamic, active, and supportive learning. Proven ability to develop confidence and self-esteem in students and to act as a role model in presentation, action, and communication. Strong interpersonal skills, with highly developed organisational, communication and administrative skills. An understanding of the Reggio Emilia philosophy will be highly regarded. Eligibility to work in Australia with relevant teaching qualifications and current registration, or eligibility for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
