The role: Support the operations of the Pool Office within the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) by providing assistance with recruitment and staffing allocation for all clients of the LGH Pool Office. Provide high level clerical and administrative support to the LGH IOC management team and ensure data accuracy for costing purposes, journaling and reports. Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application. The area: The Pool Office is a dynamic working environment employing permanent and casual nurses and support staff to provide short and longer term back fill to inpatient and outpatient areas across the Launceston General and District Hospitals. The role of the Administration and Clerical Officer requires a person who has strong interpersonal and team leader skills and has proven high level administration and database experience. Experience in supporting recruitment processes would be highly regarded. The role would suit someone who enjoys supervising a team, working under pressure, meeting deadlines and managing changing priorities. The successful applicant will work within a small team in the Integrated Operations Centre at the LGH to support our pool team of approximately 500 employees. The Administration and Clerical Officer will be supported by the team of Nurse Unit Manager and Associate Nurse Unit Managers. Details of Appointment Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 4 August 2024 notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. Salary: $71,661 - $77,455 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
