About the role:As a Finance Sales Business Analyst within the M&I Sales Function, you will support the Vic/SA/WA Finance Business Partner by delivering value-added analysis, insightful reporting, and commentary on the P&L and Balance Sheet. In this role, you will also assist the M&I FP&A Manager with national marketing support. Your focus will span all product categories including Bricks, Insulation and Roofing.Full State P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility for the WA State financialBusiness partner WA State GM and the National Marketing GM and co-ordinate the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and monthly Anticipate across the sales function, delivering in a timely manner and providing challenge to key stakeholders to optimise business outcomes.Provide astute, insightful and value-added business partnering and decision support to the State sales function across all product categories for Vic/SA/WA. Prepare reporting on monthly results against budgets and forecast including analysis and commentary, ensuring the drivers of material issues and variations are explained and communicated.Proactively drive continuous improvement of key financial processes and templates to deliver efficiencies and taking a whole of business approach across Vic/SA/WA, including (but not limited to): IBP forecasting process; CRM / Account Manager Call Cycle plan goals; daily sales / margin and exception management; Inventory Record Accuracy & Slow-moving stock; Sales rebates; Debtors (ageing, customer claims / credit notes etc)Financial stewardship for Vic/SA/WA supporting the Business Partner; ensuring State Controlled Self-Assessment (CSA) tool, tasks and work aids are relevant, completed, monitored and audited, including Compliance to CSR delegated levels of Authority, policies and procedures such as Credit cards, travel & entertainment, Code of conduct and Ethics, etc What you bring to the role:CA or CPA2 years plus of relevant commercial financeExcellent excel skills and preferrable Power BI experienceForward looking, collaborative and solutions focused behaviouralDemonstrated commercial acumenProactive, curious, energetic, can connect the dots across a variety of functions and measures, actively manages risks, leads by example and takes a hands on approach.Manufacturing, building and construction industry experience (preferred but not critical).
