Your day to day The Director of Sales will be responsible for driving the hotel's sales strategy, enhancing market share, and ensuring sustainable revenue growth. This role demands a strategic thinker with a passion for luxury hospitality, a proven track record in sales leadership, and the ability to build and nurture client and team relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and enhance market presence. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various market segments, including corporate, leisure, and events. - Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, travel agents, corporate partners, and other key stakeholders. - Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute targeted campaigns and promotions. - Conduct market analysis and competitor research to stay ahead of industry trends and capitalise on emerging opportunities. - Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve individual and team goals. - Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management. - Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads. What we need from you - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. - A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership within the luxury hospitality sector. - Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth. - Familiarity with IHG systems is highly desirable - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-profile clients. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset. - Passion for luxury hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
