About the Role: The Administrative Officer performs a range of administrative services to support the operations of the Centre of VU Transitions. The role supports the student life cycle in ELICOS, Foundations and HE Diploma programs. It is also responsible for delivering administrative support to internal and external stakeholders in addition to front of house customer service. This position requires collaboration with core admin and teaching areas to prepare and maintain student contact lists, attendance and assessment spreadsheets, delivery plans and graduation administration for all offshore and onshore ELICOS and Foundation students. This is a full-time position at a HEP 5 classification with salary range $73,852 - $84, 831 per annum, plus 17% superannuation, working 36.75 (1.0 FTE) hours per week over a fixed-term contract period until August 2025. Duties: Some of the duties you are expected to perform are: Provides administrative support across a range of student administration and student advice functions to ensure the delivery of quality service to current and prospective students and staff. Prepare and maintain the student contact lists, attendance and assessment spreadsheets, delivery plans and graduation paperwork for all offshore and onshore ELICOS and Foundation students, and ensure Student One entries are up-to-date as per the relevant legislations. Monitor and contribute to the development/review of the Centre's operational manual and procedures regularly. About You: The ideal candidate thrives when operating cooperatively and effectively as part of a team in a diverse and rapidly changing environment. You are adept at providing administrative support to ensure the delivery of quality service to current and prospective students and staff. You take the lead in initiating, executing and problem solving for continuous enhancement processes under the university policies, procedures, and mandatory requirements to ensure that Victoria University attracts students of the highest calibre.
