Role Type: Permanent Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands, VIC 3008 Work Hours: 40 hours What will your day look like? As an Insurance Administrator, you will be responsible for providing prompt and accurate support to a diverse range of stakeholders in a fast-paced area of the business. You will be accountable for: Assisting in all aspects of the purchase and management of ANZ's Global Insurance program Engaging with external stakeholders, including brokers, insurers, and other specialists in relation to the negotiation and placement of insurance policies locally and overseas Assisting with the management of ANZ's captive insurance company Engaging with brokers, insurers, lawyers, and loss adjusters in relation to the negotiation and settlement of covered claims Considering emerging risks and recommending policy enhancements and/or new policies as appropriate Supporting other business units within the bank that also have insurance relationships. Providing support and advice to the business on the potential insurance impact of critical business and industry issues as they arise Working with the team to prioritise, scope, undertake and deliver a range of insurance-related projects. Reviewing, challenging, and enhancing procedures for the collection and maintenance of information records and data Processing and management of invoices, accounts and financial records related to the insurance functions. What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Sound knowledge of corporate insurance for either a global financial institution or a multinational organisation Proven experience in independently managing regulatory relationships with a good understanding of risk-based testing and/or audits Demonstrated ability to remain results focused in a fast-changing environment Strong communication skills with the ability to persuade, influence and build rapport with others, Ability to build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders; impart specialist knowledge with an excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of the key drivers of risk/reward relationships and commitment to ensuring standards and controls are established and maintained in the workplace. Tertiary qualification in law, insurance or banking/business or similar degree is preferred. You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
