The Opportunity: Every year we collect, receive and sort nearly 2 million tonnes of paper, cardboard, glass, plastics, steel and aluminum from Australian and New Zealand households, businesses, and schools, recovering the greatest amount of material we can at our MRFs and sorting facilities. Reporting to the Service Delivery Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering improvements in customer service through the effective resolution of escalated customer issues. Your day-to-day will involve generating new business while servicing the needs of repeat customers by resolving any issues and providing excellent customer service. You will be an energetic person looking to make a move into an office-based role. You must be passionate about building strong relationships and ensuring excellence in customer experience. The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Receiving calls, checking e-mails, and customer escalations Actioning and resolving service requests, investigating repeated service failures with the aim of eliminating them Generating sales leads and direct sales to ensure targets are met Day-to-day administrative tasks, including maintaining the accuracy of the database Complying with OHS&E policies and procedures Building and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships Provide timely resolution of Container Deposit Scheme customer enquiries There will be a requirement in this role to work weekly rostered shifts. What you will bring to the team: Proven experience in a similar Customer Service, Administration, or Business Support role Outstanding communication skills - both verbal and written Ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities High levels of attention to detail A passion for streamlining and enhancing efficiencies Enthusiasm to learn and work hard Desirable Salesforce and CRM experience When you join Visy, you're joining a global leader dedicated to making serious progress in the sustainable packaging and recycling industries.
