Leading private sector client has an immediate need for a highly skilled and experienced Application Support consultant to join them on a permanent basis. This role will see you joining a small ad close knit team working across a wide range systems and diverse stakeholder group. The Application Support Officer is dedicated to enhancing the efficiency and productivity of business processes by providing expert support and guidance on application systems. This role involves reviewing applications, analysing requirements, recommending system protocols and advising internal stakeholders on process improvements. The officer must possess fundamental application troubleshooting abilities. Your key responsibilities shall include: Liaise and follow-up with Ungerboeck software on support issues; Train users on Ungerboeck system procedures and provide guidance on the day-to-day use of the system; Provide System Administration / Access Management for all users of the system such as adding, removing, Access control. (Ungerboeck and MSL); Maintain system access security and perform routine audits of the system / user activity; and Responsible for documenting the configuration of the system and system set-up procedures. Skills, Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in information system or Diploma in Information Technology; 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally the company’s ERP; Knowledge and experience that includes Hospitality Food & Beverage or Retailing (desirable); Experience in logging and managing support tickets in helpdesk system (essential); Proficient in managing competing priorities and working to deadlines; Advanced interpersonal, organisational and communication skills; Have general experience and expertise with other software and programs; and General understating in SAAS model.
