As the Group Sales Manager , you will be responsible for managing and growing the broadcast regional and metro sales revenue from their designated portfolio of agencies/clients. This role is expected to oversee broadcast Sales Executives and Coordinators looking after both metro and regional campaigns directly but works closely with the Digital GSM and Connections Planner across their portfolio to drive cross screen convergent outcomes. You will also work closely with the broader Seven sales teams to develop a high-performance team focused on delivering state and network targets across the screens of Seven West Media. In this role you will be based in Sydney and reporting to the Group Business Director . Key responsibilities include: Negotiation and management of national broadcast deals across your Agency Portfolio and to ensure revenue and share targets are met. You will need to manage a clear deal book for your portfolio ensuring deal delivery is in-line with or above network trading requirements to ensure strong yield delivery across your portfolio. Overseeing all campaign activity for metro and regional television across your portfolio to ensure seamless delivery in line with trading targets. Building and fostering strong relationships with local Investment Directors and Group Trading Leads within your designated agencies. Work together with Investment teams in Agencies and your internal team to ensure we are aligned and delivering to our Better Together Service charter around responsiveness, service and productivity. Delivering exceptional client service outcomes, innovative thinking, utilization of all SWM assets, and skillful salesmanship. Work closely with departments within & associated with sales to drive best in market service and delivery. Staying abreast of market trends and conditions. Work with GBD on development of clear business plans for your portfolio focused on identifying clients for future growth and those where a strong retention plan is required. Ensuring all regulatory and internal SWM guidelines are adhered to and that your team have regular training to make sure that knowledge is up to date and processes are followed. Providing management with top line reports that are accurate, clear, succinct and timely. You are someone with: 7 years Agency (Trading) and/or TV/digital sales experience. Strong sales background and a thorough understanding of broadcast media trading principles. Exceptional leadership skills. Able to drive a collaborative culture of high performance and maximising client satisfaction across the sales team. Mentor, manage and coach team members, providing continuous feedback and development opportunities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
