Your part in it This role will see you automating infrastructure setup, establishing robust CI/CD workflows, monitoring system performance, analysing cloud expenditure, and optimising resource use. Additionally, you will manage and support our SQL-based databases, using standard processes and tools to efficiently deploy new cloud services crucial to our business operations. Your main areas of focus will be Strategic Focus, Cloud Services Delivery and Cloud Services Operations. What you'll put into it Developing Architectural policies, standards and procedures and ensure alignment with Alinta's IT strategy, architecture, and business objectives. Ensuring the Cloud and Infrastructure Solutions align to Alinta business and technology strategies as they evolve Delivering support for integration and support of applications on Alinta hosted systems as well as cloud SaaS offerings Ensuring Cloud Service Operations are delivered in a self-managed, automated manner as far as possible Assisting in investigate the root cause of Cloud Service and Hybrid systems incidents and instigate actions to correct the situation via formal post incident review enabling future architectural decisions to consider ongoing operational excellence. What you'll bring to it Solid working experience in a DevSecOps environment demonstratable experience in Azure, DevSecOps Principals, Scripting/Automation GitHub and Containerization Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including its core services such as Azure Resource Manager, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure DevOps Services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Strong knowledge of DevSecOps principles, practices, and methodologies, including continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC) Support and maintenance of database platforms such as but not limited to SQL, MySQL, Oracle Strong relationship building skills, business acumen, a strong customer focus, analytical intelligence and innovative thinking Join us in this exciting journey and play a pivotal role in driving our cloud strategy forward.
