We are currently looking for a full-time permanent Administration & Engagement Coordinator to join our Insights & Engagement team. About the role The Administration and Engagement Coordinator (Engagement Coordinator) is the administrative and logistics powerhouse for our programs, initiatives and strategic engagement that the Law Society of NSW has with Regional Law Societies and regionally based members/legal practitioners. What you'll be doing Assisting with administrative tasks relating to Regional Law Societies, Regional Presidents and regional engagement. Maintaining and organising the regional engagement events, social calendars, Regional Coordinator inbox and folders. Assisting with ad-hoc data entry and drafting of routine correspondence. Assisting with the creation of meeting and event communications, invitations, and bookings. Assisting with the execution of Regional Presidents’ meetings and working groups. Assisting with the coordination and development of regional events and resources. Any other regionally specific tasks that may arise from time to time. Supporting the Insights & Engagement team with general administrative tasks. Assisting the Engagement Managers and Wellbeing Manager with coordination of various events and meetings. Assisting with the maintenance and updating of documents, resources and online webpages as required. Responding to general queries received by phone and email through Insights & Engagement communication channels. Maintaining and updating contact information and databases for the Insights & Engagement team. Drafting of various routine letters and applications. Assisting in the organisation and requisition of various invoices. About you Exceptional customer service and administration skills. Exceptional social media knowledge and skills. Exceptional organisational skills and strong interpersonal skills. Good understanding and awareness of the areas of law and issues impacting the profession. Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to quickly learn new programs. Ability to work in a small team, as an active and contributing member. Exceptional attention to detail, planning, and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proof reading. Ability to work outside of normal working hours at times, including some evenings and weekends. Confident, professional, motivated and enthusiastic. Demonstrated ability to be adaptive and accepting of new ideas, and a willingness to approach new challenges. Punctual and reliable Exposure to the legal profession is an advantage, but not essential.
