Working at CQUniversity The Research Division oversees and manages CQUniversity’s research activities to ensure compliance with the Higher Education Standards Framework. The mission of the Research Division is to support and strengthen a research environment across CQUniversity that inspires staff and students to develop and grow their research portfolio and exceed research performance expectations. We are currently seeking an Administration Officer to provide administrative support to our researchers and research leaders across the footprint of the university. The role will contribute to the development and maintenance of complex registers/ databases, the implementation of accurate records management systems and provide timely procedural and policy advice and guidance to our research staff regarding a range of administrative and financial matters. The role will provide administration support to Research Centres and Institutes including acquitting corporate cards, domestic and international travel arrangements, procurement tasks, recruitment tasks and webpage updates as well as other general admin duties to support Research Projects. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, skilled at engaging diverse clients via phone, email, and in person interactions. As a Research Administration Officer, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes, organisational performance, productivity, flexibility and effectiveness in achieving quality outcomes for clients by completing administrative duties within allocated business timeframes to ensure the division meets deadlines and achieves their overall strategic goals. Proficient in the operation of computer software programs and corporate information systems and databases. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build and maintain professional working relationships. Demonstrated skills in effective record keeping, report preparation and archiving.
