As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible will be responsible for delivering operationally efficient and compliant maintenance services and business priorities for day of operations at Qantas Domestic & International Terminals and Hangar maintenance events. As part of this role, you will also be responsible for developing and implementing key business initiatives to drive continuous improvement aligned with the strategic priorities as defined by the Qantas Engineering and the Qantas Group. To be successful you will have: Familiarity with Civil Aviation regulations and other regulations governing industrial workforce management (WH&S, Industrial Relations, Environment, EEO etc.) Exceptional understanding of processes and extensive experience in large scale operational and/or commercial functions. Ability to engage front line to executive leaders & foster an inclusive and supportive workplace culture. Experience leading teams, and ideally teams of teams Highly developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills. Proven ability to quickly identify issues, structure project plans and develop strategic options. Experience with strategy development, financial, communications and project management skills. Customer oriented approach with an ability to question and challenge effectively, whilst maintaining strong relationships.
