As the Associate Director of Sales, you are tasked with maximising total revenue potential for Hyatt Regency Sydney across the Group (Group room nights) and Event (Food, beverage and venue hire) markets. This role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne. Main Responsibilities: - To manage all client enquiries and challenges with a professional manner and demonstrate a high standard of customer service, creating solutions for Hyatt clients. - To find and take new corporate/third party enquiries, following through to conversion of group business, creating win/win solutions for clients and the hotel. - Entertaining clients with famils, site inspections and working in collaboration with third parties, Bureaus, Tourism Bodies to host breakfasts, lunches and dinners. - Set KPIs for junior team to deliver entertaining as above. - With the team, manage the day to day administration of new and existing business, including use of CVENT software for RFP. - Lead the team and develop tiers of clients both domestically and internationally. - Consolidating monthly budgeting of sales and entertainment activities. - High level of involvement in the end of month reporting for owners. - Coaching and Counselling other Sales team Members - Being a part of the Hyatt Sales Incentive Plan Scheme - Developing and Driving Sales Strategies for both Mice, catering and Events. - Participating in Budget preparation and Financial goals and Performance To be Successful: - Experience with Opera is highly desirable - Experience at leading, managing and motivating teams. - Demonstrated time management skills - Excellent commination skills - Full unrestricted and ongoing Australian working rights - Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to sales and be a dynamic sales professional who will positively impact the business and clearly define the Hyatt Regency Brand. - Have previous experience in retention and management of existing business Primary Location: AU-NS-Sydney Organization: Hyatt Regency Sydney Job Level: Full-time Job: Administrative Req ID: SYD002694 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
