About the role We are extremely excited to announce that we are on the lookout for an experienced IT Technical Lead (Systems Administrator) to join our GroundProbe team in our bright and modern offices at Windsor, Brisbane. Reporting to the Head of ICT, you will lead our team of IT support officers and help service our growing customer base. Working Mon-Fri, the IT Technical Lead would be providing direct IT Support to our staff, guiding, training and leading small teams, and working with management to continuously improve our internal systems. What you will be doing Implement and maintain an IT infrastructure that supports the critical Business processes in the most efficient way; Maintain uptime of IT service delivery catalogue for GroundProbe; Work with internal teams and external service providers to deliver continued maintenance, and support of services; Ensure uptime and SLA and key metrics on critical services and technical escalation of ticketing system. Lead and support security initiatives in collaboration with the Head of ICT; Supporting and maintain on-prem & cloud servers, storage, security & network infrastructure, operating systems; such as AD, Entra, M365 & Azure; Provide 2nd & 3rd Level ICT Support; Mentor junior team members; Document and communicate global design of the IT architecture framework; Managing update rollouts across our systems & applications. Plan, recommend, coordinate and schedule all investigations, studies and evaluations of proposed and existing systems and applications. What you will bring Degree or IT industry certifications; 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Server and cloud technologies; Network management skills and experience including switches, routers, DNS and DHCP; Strong experience in systems administration and customer support in a complex environment which includes the following technologies: Windows 10 / 11, Windows Server, Microsoft Office 365, Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, Google); Networking, VPN, Wi-Fi, Next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto); Virtualisation (VMWare, VDI, Microsoft Hyper V); Antivirus / EDR, SIEM; Backup systems, Active Directory, SAN and NAS storage devices; Experience in Cybersecurity would be advantageous but not essential.
