Your new role- Customer Service Specialist As an import Customer Service representative, your primary role will involve coordinating impeccable logistics solutions that consistently demonstrate our dedication to customer satisfaction and delivering top-tier service in the industry. Your job duties & responsibility as a Customer Service Specialist include but are not limited to the following: Coordinating the movement and management of customer orders while working closely with overseas partners, service providers, and internal operations departments. Providing customers with regularly updated statuses of inbound orders and deliveries via order management systems and reports. Liaising with customers, carriers, service providers, and overseas partners. Ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction through effective and efficient responses to customer inquiries, issues, and concerns. Establishing and maintaining a strong rapport with customers and service providers. Providing direction and support to internal departments. Attending client visits when necessary. Providing quotations and maintaining client costings. What you will need to succeed A minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Service with an International Freight Forwarder. Excellent knowledge of import operations and customs procedures. Customer Service Specialist experience Strong relationship-building experience with excellent communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Prior experience using CargoWise (CW1) is advantageous.
