You'll need to consider yourself office-based. A newly created role; shape it to suit you. Day to day Your primary responsibility will be to create accurate and detailed 3D hydraulic models using Revit. We really need some great Revit skills and an interest in modelling. We can teach hydraulics. However, preference will be given to those with building services hydraulics experience. You will collaborate closely with others in the design team, to ensure seamless integration all components within the overall project. You'll think not only about immediate projects but how the business can be better in the future. The team There's a team of about 20 staff here. Most are civil engineers. They also have environmental scientists and landscape architects. You are likely to have experience from a Building Services consulting firm but that's not set in stone. You'll work with the automation specialist and the IT team as well as civil engineers to make sure the work and effort put in is really effective, future proof. Key duties Modelling of hydraulic elements using REVIT Preparation of construction level hydraulic services documentation Data entry of element details Coordination and clash detection of hydraulic elements with other services including structural engineers using NAVISWORKS or similar Working closely with the design and project team to meet program and requirements and achieve integrated outcomes About you Proficient in working in the 3D modelling space, using relevant software (REVIT, NAVISWORKS, REVISTO) 2-5 years Tertiary qualification in a related field (could be software, design or engineering related) Ability to work in a team environment Interest or skills in Dynamo or related programming platforms would be well regarded and considered To find out more Contact Miriam Taylor on 0447 042 897 or email miriam.taylorsonda.com.au .
