Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2025 school year. About the role Suitable applicants will ideally use explicit teaching strategies and exhibit effective classroom management skills to enhance student learning and wellbeing. Applicants should ideally be flexible, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to professional learning and a high-level of participation in collaborative team planning. They will plan, program, and assess using an integrated curriculum, differentiated to meet individual student needs. Applicants will also ideally have highly effective teaching practices, an ability to self-reflect and a willingness to seek constant improvement in their own practice. We are seeking applicants who are diligent and knowledgeable about a range of disabilities and the implementation of strategies to support and enhance individual development in all areas. Teachers in an education support environment positively manage a team of education assistants to create a safe and supportive learning environment for students. The ideal suitable applicants will engage with and contribute to the school community and work collaboratively with families, therapists, and outside agencies to improve student outcomes.
