The Role We are ideally seeking high-quality teachers who are enthusiastic and dedicated to teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory impairment, and challenging behaviours. Ideally, applicants should possess an in-depth understanding of evidence-based practice and specialist education support pedagogy. We are seeking applicants in primary aged classes. It would be highly desirable for the suitable applicants to possess a skill set that includes knowledge of Alternative Augmentative Communication, differentiated teaching and learning, individual visual supports systems, Positive Behaviour Support, including functional behaviour assessment, self-regulation strategies, Digital Technologies, who have an understanding of Systematic Sequential Phonics and Talk for Writing.
