We are currently looking for a Civil Design Manager to join the Planning & Projects team to support the delivery of the Terminal T3/T4 Capital Works Program. What you'll do: Your role will involve leading the design development and documentation phases of civil infrastructure airfield pavement projects at Perth Airport. In this role you will be responsible for developing and agreeing the project brief, establishing the vision, objectives and priorities for civil projects. The Civil Design Manager is also responsible for the assessment of a projects technical and commercial viability ensuring alignment with Perth Airport’s design frameworks and processes. You will provide oversight of all aspects of the design process including cost, risk and value management, Safety in Design considerations, constraints and opportunities mapping, optioneering and feasibility studies. You will be required to engage and manage consultant teams as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with approved Master Plans and business strategies. You'll challenge where necessary to ensure the best design outcomes and ensure project design is fit for purpose. About you: You hold a tertiary education in one of the following: - civil engineering, design management and / or project management and you will demonstrate relevant experience in the delivery of civil design deliverables, including stakeholder management, design management, safety, cost, time, and risk assessments to enable project decision making. You are experienced in leading and co-ordinating cross-functional teams and incorporating the needs of stakeholders into the design process. You are highly detail orientated, proactive and logical in your thinking and have a collaborative working attitude.
