Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Traffic Management Designer to develop comprehensive traffic guidance schemes and management plans with a strong focus on Catergory 3 roads. The successful candidate will ensure smooth traffic flow and safety compliance in high-traffic areas. This role involves detailed coordination with clients, internal teams, and regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities: Develop Traffic Management Plans: Create effective and compliant traffic guidance schemes. Ensure all plans align with current laws, policies, and procedures. Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand and meet their specific traffic management needs. Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard identification to prioritize safety. Stakeholder Liaison: Facilitate consultations with key stakeholders, including road authorities, local councils, police, and public transport entities. Precision and Timeliness: Ensure all traffic plans are accurate and executed on schedule. Support Daily Operations: Assist with daily operational tasks to enhance our traffic management efforts. Leadership: Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering their professional development. Required Qualifications: Experience : Proven experience in traffic management planning on freeways, with a preference for senior-level experience. Candidates with relevant skills and a keen interest in traffic management may also be considered. Certifications : Possession of a Construction White Card and a valid C Class Driver’s License. Certification in Traffic Management Plan Preparation (RIICWD503E) is a minimum requirement. Technical Proficiency : Experience with Rapid Plan or similar software. Advanced skills in Microsoft 365. Attention to Detai l: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Communication Skills : Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders. Time Management : Exceptional time management abilities.
