About the Role: In this role, you'll ensure our programs run smoothly and meet accreditation standards, organise engaging events that showcase our strengths and support marketing strategies that attract and retain top students. It's a dynamic role that requires a blend of administrative skills, creativity and a passion for higher education. You'll be part of a collaborative team in the College of Sport, Health and Engineering at Victoria University, a vibrant hub for learning and research. You'll work alongside academic staff, students and other administrative teams to ensure the College runs efficiently and effectively. You will report directly to the Program Delivery, Events & Marketing Team Leader. While this role doesn't involve managing any staff, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with and influence colleagues across the College. Duties: Some of the duties you may perform include: Facilitate smooth accreditation processes for college programs, ensuring compliance and quality standards. Coordinate and execute impactful university events, from planning to implementation, fostering a positive college image. Liaise with diverse stakeholders across the university, building strong relationships and ensuring effective communication. Provide administrative support to the Team Leader, including report preparation and data analysis for informed decision-making. Ensure efficient student-focused processes, collaborating with program areas and central services to optimise the student experience. Maintain accurate records and utilise university systems, contributing to the efficient operation of the administrative workstream. This is a part time position at a HEP 5 classification, salary range $73,852 per annum (pro rata) - $84,831 per annum (pro rata), plus 17% Superannuation. This role is a 0.5 FTE (18.375 hours per week) over four days, on a 15-month fixed-term contract. About You: You demonstrated proven experience in coordinating successful events and supporting marketing initiatives, backed by excellent communication and interpersonal abilities that enable you to foster strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. You acquire strong organisational and administrative skills, characterised by meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to efficiency. Additionally, you adopt a proactive and adaptable work style, driven by a passion for continuous improvement and achieving exceptional results.
