First impressions count. To get our guests' memorable experiences off to an unforgettable start, we're looking for a part time Guest Service Agent to offer that warm smile on our front desk. In this role you check in/check out our guests, offer expert knowledge about the airport and surrounds and go that extra mile that makes our guests feel right at home. A little taste of your day-to-day: ? Kicking off truly memorable guest experiences with the warmest of welcomes ? Acknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or over the phone ? Taking, managing and receiving payments for guest bookings ? Making the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamless ? Staying one step of our guests' needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations ? Transporting our guests to/from the airport in our hotel shuttle service What we need from you: ? 2 years experience in a Customer Service role where you regularly have gone above and beyond to offer the customer a memorable experience ? Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you'll be easy to talk to ? The ability to think on your feet and offer guests solutions and information especially to those new to Melbourne and the Airport area ? Confidence to drive a shuttle bus with trailer - you must have a Victorian full drivers licence (sorry, no P plates or International Drivers licences) ? Tech savvy - you'll have a good grasp of common PC software and an ability to quickly learn hotel specific software ? The ability to work part time shifts on a rotating roster mostly between 7am - 11pm, over 7 days a week.
