It comprises three sub-schools: Middle School - Year 7 & 8, Upper School - Years 9 & 10 and Senior School - Years 11 & 12. It hosts a Gifted and Talented Languages program, an approved Specialist Visual and Performing Arts (SVAPA) program, a Music program and the innovative Aboriginal Excellence Program. In anticipation of acquiring the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts facilities when it relocates to the Edith Cowan University City Campus, Mount Lawley Senior High School is seeking to expand the Arts opportunities for all students in Years 7-12, including Visual Arts. In addition, the successful applicant will be committed to enhancing the school's highly regarded Specialist Visual and Performing Arts (SVAPA) program. Experience Teaching Year 11 and 12 Australian Tertiary Admisison Rank (ATAR) Visual Arts is highly desirable. Applicants should have a focus on high performance and high care and will demonstrate professional knowledge, practical application and understanding of the curriculum from Year 7 to Year 12.
