As a Senior Product Designer, you will spearhead the acceleration of AI application and opportunity identification across our organisation. Your role will be pivotal in researching and pinpointing AI opportunities to maximise both customer satisfaction and business outcomes. You'll partner with fellow Product Designers to ensure a seamless end-to-end experience across multiple channels. Operating within an agile squad, you will play a central role for product managers and stakeholders, driving design discovery, ideation, and delivery with a hands-on approach. Your day in the life of a Senior Product Designer: Design and develop new customer journeys for conversational AI products, creating artifacts from low-def to high-def, including conversation mapping, interactive prototyping, and visual design. Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Designers and business partners to identify future focus areas for product development and conversation design. Conduct end-to-end research, including planning, recruitment, moderation, synthesis, and presenting findings, utilising best practice methods with our Design Research Chapter. Ensure detailed designs are consistent with the Optus Design System and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards. Propose experiments, guiding the team with a well-defined hypothesis, prioritisation framework, and solutions to be tested within a robust framework. Facilitate workshops with your squad and other teams to define problems, generate solutions, and formulate recommendations.
