About the role: We have a newly created position for a Warehouse Supervisor at our Mascot office. The role will see you manage all warehouse-related activities such as the inbound operation of overseeing container offloading, pick and pack, and put away processes. You will also coordinate with the logistics team to optimise shipment schedules and on-time delivery for all outbound orders to job sites. Schindler Lifts Australia will also be relocating to a new office and warehouse facility in Mascot and this position will see you effectively manage your team of warehouse operators to support this transition to the new state-of-the-art warehouse facility down the road. You will even get a day off for your birthday Key Accountabilities: Lead a well-functioning and aligned team of warehouse operator s. Develop and Improve Warehouse operational KPIs & SLA with Internal stakeholders Support the leading-edge Warehouse storage facility Oversee your team to deliver the day-to day operations of the inbound/ outbound & Inventory keeping. Oversee the effective management of the warehouse operating system (SAP) Implement and maintain quality control procedures. Address any discrepancies or issues promptly. Strong awareness of safety and safety prevention, ideally with a qualification. What we are looking for: Previous experience within a Warehouse / Store person Supervisory role , Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems will be highly regarded. Previous people management experience Demonstrated experience of achieving set goals and targets Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal with Have a strong degree of safety knowledge associated with working in a warehouse.
