As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative mechanical systems and components for our automation projects. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems for automation applications. Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems. Conduct feasibility studies and perform engineering calculations to support design decisions. Participate in the prototyping and testing of mechanical systems to validate designs. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design issues during the development and production phases. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in the automation industry. Full Australian Working Rights. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar). Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices. Experience with robotic systems and automation equipment. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
