It will be highly regarded if the successful applicant can develop a supportive and positive classroom environment, possess effective interpersonal skills and ideally be able to work collaboratively and effectively in a professional learning community setting. The successful applicant should display an ability to elicit positive student behaviour using an educative approach. You should have a commitment to inclusive education and a strategic approach in planning for improved student outcomes. The capacity to differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of students with a range of achievement levels, language backgrounds and learning difficulties will be highly regarded. In keeping with this, the successful applicant will ideally be committed to maximising the engagement and progress of all students. In the first instance, only applicants with teaching qualifications will be considered. Where there are no suitable applicants with teaching qualifications, applicants without teaching qualifications may be considered.
