Work & Training in conjunction with our valued client, are seeking a suitable, enthusiastic candidate to undertake a Certificate III Agriculture traineeship over two years, within the Dairy Industry. What would this involve? Work & Training would employ you for the duration of the traineeship. Full time hours over a two year time frame, including some weekend work and the requirement to be flexible with hours (generally 38 hours per week). Full entitlements including four weeks of paid holidays per year. Theory training conducted with TasTAFE. Mentoring and support provided throughout the traineeship. Your workplace supervisors would provide daily coaching and opportunity for growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to complete your traineeship on a working school dairy farm, milking approximately 130 cows, using modern dairy facilities. As well as taking part in the milking process, you would be involved in all aspects of the farm operation including animal husbandry, pasture management, irrigation, and maintenance. Ability to work within a team environment. Great attitude. Sound understanding of Work Health & Safety requirements within the industry.
