As the Lead Grid Engineer, you will oversee the design, analysis, and implementation of grid integration solutions for wind and solar farms and battery energy storage systems (BESS). Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and engineering of grid integration solutions for renewable energy projects. Utilise PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory, and other simulation tools to conduct detailed studies and assessments. Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with grid codes, regulations, and industry standards. Perform dynamic modelling and analysis to assess grid stability and performance under varying conditions. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and project teams. Develop and implement strategies to enhance grid reliability, efficiency, and resilience. Support business development activities by providing technical expertise and insights. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Advanced degree preferred. Extensive experience in grid integration and renewable energy projects. Proficiency in simulation tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD, and PowerFactory. Strong understanding of wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) technologies. Knowledge of grid codes, regulations, and industry standards related to renewable energy integration. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Person Requirements: Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop engineering teams.
