As the Senior Quality Engineer, you will be reporting to the Chapter Lead Customer Engagement Comms Quality Engineering, part of the wider Retail Technology function. This role will be focusing on Non-functional Testing (NFT), Performance Testing requirements, and automation frameworks. Retail Technology is responsible for the world-leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank and Bankwest Retail - from innovative product platforms for our customers, to essential tools within our business. We use technology to drive simplicity and better banking, an essential component of great customer service, which is underpinned by a strong emphasis on software development and the adoption of industry-best engineering practices. We're interested in hearing from people who: Are proficient in the end-to-end SDLC process essential. Can provide strong technical knowledge in PL/SQL, Splunk, CI/CD and Blaze Meter systems. Design test scenarios and automation test frameworks Have solid hands-on experience developing and executing test plans and test cases, whilst identifying and reporting defects in software applications. Have proven knowledge participating in product design and requirement reviews. Pride themselves in ensuring that software products meet quality standards and user requirements. Have experience with both functional and no-functional testing of high available systems Tech skills We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team: Test Levels: Performance Testing, NFT - non-functional testing experience essential. Programming/Scripting Languages (Any Language): C#, .NET Core, Java, Python, Bash, PowerShell Testing Tools: Dev Test, SOAP UI and any unit testing frameworks.
