Your new team: The Cloud Security Technology crew is part of the group's wider cyber security landscape. This division ensures the delivery of complex security initiatives with a key focus in the group's cloud security offerings across platforms and various systems. Our mandate is to protect the business' platforms, systems, data, digital assets, and reputation that is interconnected with the organisation's cloud estate. We also support the group in developing innovative and market-leading offerings, which are underpinned by security, privacy, and trust. Your impact and contribution: As the Senior Systems Engineer you will be reporting directly to the Chapter Lead of Cloud Security Tech - Systems Engineering. You will managing key control services across the wider public cloud environment to ensure the safety of our organisation and customers. This role will enable you to work on vital project solutions and uplifts across AWS cloud, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) toolsets e.g., Cloudformation, Terraform and developing new tools and AWS Native cloud solutions across the group. You will also: Work on key control services across the Group, building cloud native solutions in AWS. Monitor for key alerts across the Group's protective controls to prevent noncompliance. Oversee and manage key vendor relationships. Consult with key stakholders on technical and non-technical solutions. We are interested in people who: Are an experience Senior Systems Engineer with proficient expertise across AWS and possesses the ability to develop new tools and AWS native cloud solutions. You will bring: Proficiency in AWS or one cloud offerings essential. Knowledge and experience in IaC toolset (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform,). Experience working with cloud native security and monitoring services such as AWS Config, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, AWS SecruityHub and AWS GuardDuty A history in working with Infrastructure as Code (highly desirable; Lambda, Cloudformation, CDK, AWS CodeBuild/CodePipeline). Experience developing new tools and AWS Native cloud services to be integrated across the bank. In depth understanding of scripting/programming languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python etc, as well as good Windows/Linux Server experience. Expertise working with AWS Infrastructure. Experience with and knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools like Github, GitHub Action, TeamCity, CI/CD pipeline desirable. Understanding of DevOps/SRE Best Practices: Logging, Monitoring, Security.
