We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join our NSW Mining & Mechanical Group and be based in either our Newcastle or Orange office. Our group has a strong core team of highly experienced industry professionals, providing a range of engineering services to mining and industrial clients across NSW, Australia and internationally. We are involved with capital works and sustaining capital projects from early phase studies, through to detailed design and technical support during construction and commissioning. We also provide operational support to clients through assessments and audits. Working on a diverse range of projects and clients, you will: have the opportunities to work across varying industries and sectors with different challenges and requirements Be working on scopes from concepts, detailed studies and final designed solutions, from small bespoke projects to large multidiscipline international projects Be growing your technical and delivery knowledge whilst being challenged to deliver expanding size and technically complex multidiscipline projects Focus on delivering comprehensive client solutions on time and within budget Deliver high quality technical outcomes as part of a team, including investigation, analysis and design tasks. Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams delivering infrastructure projects. Work with our clients to deliver technical solutions. Contribute to winning work and market-led innovative offerings About you: Prior experience and the ability to work within dedicated project teams and within a multidisciplinary consulting environment. A positive record of managing client relationships, and delivery of quality project outcomes on time and on budget. Ability to take on project leadership roles - such as design manager or study lead - for multi-disciplinary projects across the mining and industrial sectors. Sound understanding of current mechanical engineering technologies, including methods of installation, operation and configuration. Knowledge around mechanical engineering design related to materials handling, plant engineering &/or pipe and pump projects. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Interested? Apply now.
