About the role: This is an exciting opportunity to work with a significant platform where you will play a key role in the integration of workplace technology hardware into a single employee experience through software. You will lead the technical direction for our internally developed and industry leading smart building software platform sensuring we deliver a great work place experience for our employees. This software platform provides employees with a mobile and web app to connect our users to a range of services and functionality within the workplace including use as a Digital ID, Managing Locker and Desk Bookings as well as integration into other IOT devices within the workplace. You will lead continuous delivery and good development practices within the team and domain and our products, and deliver the pipeline of work for the team, enabling the Real Estate Technology roadmap. What you'll do: Proactively identify and create proposals for technology improvements Lead the technical DevOps processes for smart building software, including backend and front end Contribute to the design, development and implementation of the teams technology roadmap Provide input to estimates of resource effort requirements for workload planning activities Establish the DevOps CI/CD Pipeline process for smart building software development Full-Stack software development across mobile, web and other backend systems Use Lean practices to drive continuous improvement to build resilient and robust platforms to support our customers What you'll bring: At least five (5) years appropriate industry experience in a similar role within a complex organisation Expert in .NET Development (across the full stack) with proven history of leading technical development in this space Proven experience in front-end development and databases (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) Preferred experience in Xamarin and Maui for Mobile App development or similar Experience with orchestration platforms and connecting to hardware based systems for automation What we can offer you: Discounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as banking and insurance products.
