Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, the role accountabilities are: To provide quality & timely surveying services for operational and technical purposes. Accurate survey data and records ensure that operational, technical & other business functions can make decisions around design layout, excavation progress and mine conditions. Surveyors use aligned practices for positioning & measurement technologies so that Mine Geologists, Production Engineers, Mine Planners and other groups assess the mine performance & the dynamic mine plan with confidence. Core tasks of this role include. As-constructed pick-ups using a suite of spatial data collectors such as GPS, laser scanners and UAV's Incident scene surveys and digital hazard management Pit wall and infrastructure deformation monitoring Set out of known hazards and critical operational boundaries Conformance to design checks & associated reports Volumetric surveys and reporting. About you You will ideally have: A diploma in Surveying Practical Surveying experience in any field A 'C' class driver's licence Ability to engage and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Any Surveying qualifications including working towards completing your qualifications or practical surveying experience will be highly regarded.
