Lindsay Rural is currently seeking a Delivery Driver / Store Person to join the team in Atherton. The Role: We are seeking a Delivery Driver/Store person to join our Lindsay Rural team in Atherton for local delivery work. Local drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods and the loading, unloading and load restraint of merchandise. Your main responsibilities will include: Deliver and unload merchandise to rural worksites. Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company merchandise. Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technology Interacting with customers in a professional manner. Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight. Correctly receiving and reporting missing stock; conduct stock counts as required. Maintain cleanliness of the Lindsay Rural site Have a broad knowledge of all the products and services available Additional tasks as required About you: The candidates we are looking for will have: A current unrestricted manual open HR/HC/MC Licence. A current forklift licence Knowledge of & experience with load restraint and mass requirements. Knowledge of & experience with the use of manual pallet jacks Have a commitment to workplace health and safety. Be reliable and punctual with good communication skills. Have a strong customer focus. Good computer skills Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test. Provide a current traffic print out.
