Location – Sydney CBD The New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) are recruiting to multiple temporary vacancies (up to 30 June 2025) with the possibility of extension. Salary ranging from $93,295 to $102,941pa. Plus, employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. Your role • Assist clients to understand the Tribunal process, including encouraging the participation of persons with a disability. • Manage complex cases where there may be significant conflict between parties. • List and prepare matters for hearing, write hearing reports for the Tribunal, prepare, and send documents to clients. • Contact clients to determine how they will participate in Tribunal hearings. • Comply with procedures and legislation relevant to the Tribunal. What we’re looking for We are looking for someone who is motivated, takes initiative, has strong customer service skills, and is interested in supporting people with decision making disabilities. You will: • Be capable of being professional with challenging clients. • Be willing to develop your skills and knowledge of legislation, legal principles, and procedures. • Have strong communication and negotiation skills. • Have experience working in a high-volume environment with set timeframes. • Be able to manage your individual workload independently and efficiently. • Have an ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
