PRIMARY DETAIL Salary Package: HEW Level 5 from $83,580.00 - $95,029.00 per annum plus 17% employer's superannuation Appointment Type: 0.5 FTE fixed terms for 2 years Contribute to projects that have real-world impact THE ROLE The ARC Training Centre for Facilitated Advancement of Australia's Bioactive (FAAB) requires a skilled and proactive marketing administrator to manage the Centre's communication programmes. This exciting role will be an opportunity to engage with industry and society, promoting science and education to a wider audience. Reporting to the FAAB Partnerships Director, you will: Be responsible for the Centre's communications, which includes developing communication and reports to stakeholders in industry and society. Co-ordinate the Centre's communications (research outcomes, activities, achievements and events), including website, newsletters and media, including social media. Collate, coordinate and prepare documentation (presentations, reports, agendas, minutes, yearly progress Coordinate logistics for Directors and project leads, on- and off-site research meetings, conference attendance and related travel and catering for FAAB members. Coordinate an annual program of outreach and internal activities for the Centre, including meetings, master classes, seminars, ideation workshops and innovation trails. About You Your previous experience working in a scientific outreach or marketing role is an advantage and you thrive working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. You are able to build rapport quickly and your collaborative approach to work will enable you to create strong relationships with your colleagues. Your keen eye for detail will enable you to ensure the highest quality support to the Centre. About Us At FAAB, we are passionate about research and innovation in the field of bioactives. Led by Associate Professor Alf Garcia-Bennett, Professor Alison Rodger, and Professor Anwar Sunna, our team is a dynamic blend of experts from Macquarie University, Deakin University, the University of South Australia and Western Sydney University, as well as international collaborators. As our Administration and Outreach Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our mission, facilitating communication and collaboration among our talented researchers, industry partners, and students. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our message reaches the right audience. Proven experience in organising and coordinating outreach events, including logistics, travel arrangements, and event management. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing and managing documentation and communications.
