Roster: 8D/6R - FIFO ex Perth Fortescue is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering & Reliability department. This role is ideal for an Electrical Engineer with expertise in Non (Iron Ore) Processing Infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Anticipate and proactively resolve potential problems to ensure a zero-harm environment through design/formulation of technical solutions. Respond to electrical breakdowns and provide technical assistance to the Site Electricians. Thorough understanding of electrical systems (switchboards, generators, transformers, drawings etc) within site support infrastructure (including village accommodation). Previous management of electrical equipment hazardous area - including dossier management, installation designs and inspection (desirable). Root Cause Analysis and Defect Elimination. Identification and scoping of improvement projects. Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 3 years' experience in Processing Operations and infrastructure. Proven experience with leading root cause analysis investigations.
