Roster: 2W on/6W off - Job share arrangement - residential or FIFO opportunity available 2 year fixed-term contract Fortescue has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Track Engineer to join our team, working 2 weeks on and 6 weeks off. This position offers a perfect work-life balance while allowing you to leverage your expertise in asset management and track engineering. Key Responsibilities Support the development and implementation of new and existing standards and existing industry practices. Prepare rerailing plan and generate track asset health reports Perform analysis on track geometry & IOC readings. Coordination track geometry system service or repair Providing specialist engineering solutions across a wide range of asset and life cycle issues and ensure asset integrity. Leading small through to large-scale engineering investigations. This will include major maintenance activities, failure investigations (Root Cause Analysis), reliability reviews, rectification and upgrade works. Identify, assess and manage operational risks. Responding to technical queries from other business operations. Manage small to medium sized projects, overlooking project delivery. Monitoring Asset Management KPI's, identify gaps in performance and recommend actions to resolve. Coaching undergraduate/graduate engineers. Qualifications and Experience Engineering degree in relevant discipline (preferably Civil or Mechanical). Min of 5 years experience in Track Engineering. Demonstrated competency in use of SAP, SQL and Microsoft Suite. Demonstrated experience in asset management planning and condition monitoring (track geometry, IOC etc). Well-developed skills in problem-solving, and time and priority management. Proven commitment to safety with a focus on teamwork and quality. Strong communications skills, with the ability to lead and mentor the broader engineering community.
