(pro rata) ASO2 | Part Time 7.5 hours p/w, Ongoing Are you an enthusiastic Ward Administrative Assistant looking to join the highly experienced team on Ward 5A? About the Role: As the Ward Administrative Assistant, your duties may include: Ensuring that requests of the patient's family re visitors are adhered to. Answering all incoming telephone calls and dealing with routine patient enquiries - using judgement in conveying appropriate information. Welcoming and directing visitors to the patient concerned. Receiving, sorting and distributing mail. Liaising with other departments (eg to Radiology, laboratories, other medical staff) as requested by the NUM. To be successful in this role, you will need: Experience in general administrative activities. Demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills Experience in the use of computers, patient information systems including email Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
