What you'll do As an Akamai CDN Administrator your extensive experience with Akamai's suite of products and services, including CDN configuration, web security, and performance optimisation will be utilised day by day as you work on incidents, changes and/or requests from our client. In this role you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage Akamai solutions, ensuring optimal performance and security of our clients' web applications. This role requires Australian citizenship and a baseline security clearance at minimum. The work is hybrid with rotating on-call 24x7 shift. Key responsibilities Serve as the primary technical expert on Akamai products and services. Design and implement robust Akamai solutions tailored to client needs. Monitor and analyse web performance metrics, implementing optimisation strategies. Configure and manage Akamai security solutions (WAF, bot management, DDoS protection). Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Akamai-related issues. Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams and clients. Create and maintain technical documentation. Cloud knowledge to manage network, DNS entries and firewalls required for Akamai integration. Certificate knowledge to manage HTTPS & TLS certificates on Akamai platform. Here's what you need In depth knowledge of Akamai CDN, web performance optimisation and security solutions Experience in management of Akamai instances and troubleshooting support Hands-on experience with ITSM tools and processes Akamai certifications will be highly regarded Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS. Certification preferred.
