They are looking to appoint a junior QC Engineer to assist with control the quality of all manufactured products arriving from overseas suppliers. ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Quality Manager, this is a hands-on role that will see you undertaking inwards goods checks to ensure that products meet the established quality standards before they are released to customers. The role will be responsible for conducting various tests and inspections throughout the supply chain process to ensure they comply with set company standards. Specifics of the role include but are not limited to. • Perform quality checks on incoming materials to ensure they meet specifications • Utilise testing equipment and tools to perform physical, and functional tests on incoming goods, along with new product development master samples and customer returns • Document and report on inspection results and maintain accurate records of tests conducted • Collaborate with key stakeholders to address quality issues and help to implement corrective actions • Conduct NCR investigations and capture necessary data for ongoing reporting • Control inventory within Quality department to ensure accuracy and timely return of tested product to the warehouse • Participate in quality audits and assist in the development of quality control procedures SKILLS & EXPEIRENCE To be considered for this role, you will • Possess a relevant technical qualification (degree preferred) within Mechatronics or Electronics (but be comfortable with mechanical examination & testing) • Have worked within Quality as a Quality Engineer, QC Inspector or Technician • Bring some knowledge of QC procedures, controls or ISO9000 • Bring experience and/or Certification in Quality Auditing / Quality Control (ISO 9000 etc.) To apply online please click on the appropriate link and send your resume in WORD format.
