About the role: This is an exciting opportunity to work with a significant platform supporting the integration of workplace technology hardware into a single employee experience through software. Alongside the Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing our Smart building strategy and supporting our software platforms to ensure we deliver a great work place experience for our employees. This software platform provides employees with a mobile and web app to connect our users to a range of services and functionality within the workplace including use as a Digital ID, Managing Locker and Desk Bookings as well as integration into other IOT devices within the workplace. You will help drive continuous delivery and good development practices within the team and domain and our products, and assist with the delivery of the pipeline of work for the team and enabling the Real Estate Technology roadmap. What you'll do: Assist in creating a pipeline of work that aims to complete work set out in the team's and the department automation roadmap Support the Senior DevOps Engineer and provide development support for bugs and processing backlog items Deliver the pipeline of work for the Smart Building technology roadmap Build team's continuous delivery capability through learning and knowledge sharing Provide platform support of integrated 3rd party hardware which our software platforms depend on Continuously improve the monitoring of the team's platforms Provide support to assist in the resolution of incidents Highlight technology incident trends for root cause investigation Participate in platform maintenance and platform upgrades Identify and report operational risks Creation/updating of Knowledge Base and integration to Service Desk where applicable Contribute to development and maintenance of the disaster recovery and availability plan documentation for the relevant technology Ensure compliance to governance standards and escalate potential breaches What you'll bring: At least five (3) years appropriate industry experience in a similar role within a complex organisation .NET Development experience required Experience with Mobile App and Web App development Experience with Xamarin preferred Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript required Experience in using API's and connecting front-end components to back-end services Proven experience in taking UI/UX designs and translating them into the application Experience in DevOps processes and practices What we can offer you: Discounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as banking and insurance products.
