Roster: 4D/3R (Monday to Thursday) - FIFO ex Perth Reporting to the Chichester Compliance Superintendent, the Compliance Engineer is responsible for the management of Registerable Plant compliance and the ongoing inspection of other non-registerable assets at Chichester Ore Processing Facilities. Key Responsibilities Thorough understanding and application of Work Health and Safety Act 2020, Work Health and Safety Regulations 2022, and Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations 1995. Expertise and experience in a wide range of equipment including but not limited to: itinerant plant (mobile cranes, elevated work platforms, compressors); fixed plant lifting equipment (monorails, bridge/gantry cranes, davit/jib cranes, workboxes, 4-post hoists, vehicle loading cranes, and gravity take-up winches); pressure equipment (accumulators, air receivers, air cannons, air oil separators, heat exchangers, and pressure relief valves); and storage tanks. Managing in-service inspections and internal/external plant inspectors. Responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining and reviewing maintenance strategies in compliance with legislation, standards, and internal procedures. Support internal asset integrity audits for asset groups under their responsibility. Generation of a prioritised list of remediation project scopes to aid in yearly CAPEX and OPEX forecasts. Qualifications and Experience Related Engineering Degree or background working with Registerable Plant. Related in-service inspection certifications AICIP/API (desirable). Experience with Australian and other international in-service inspection/safe use Standards, such as AS3788, AS2550, API 653 (essential). Risk Based Inspection methodologies to API 580 (desirable). Competency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint (essential). Conduct Field Interactions with work groups to promote safe work practices.
